Chuck Cavanaugh, President & CEO of the Direct Marketing Days Marketing Conference & Expo will miss the conference for the first time in 37 years.
Cavanaugh underwent a procedure to remove an artery blockage, the DMD New York board of directors said. The prognosis is excellent and he is expected to guide next year’s. Bill Black, chairman of the DMD Board will take the position as chief spokesperson for the show.
Direct Marketing Days New York runs from June 17th – 19th at the Jacob Javits Center. Former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani will speak on Monday at a luncheon awards ceremony.
