Choice Hotels International has signed a three-year partnership with the Ladies Professional Golf Association, making Choice Hotels the Official Hotel Partner of the LPGA.
The deal extends to all facets of LPGA, from the tour players to teaching and club professional members, to staff and caddies, said Ty M. Votaw, LPGA commissioner.
Included in the deal are advertising during the LPGA telecasts on ESPN, ESPN2 and the Golf Channel, display of Choice’s brands on the LPGA Web site with lists highlighting specific hotels located near a particular event, an on-site presence at LPGA tournaments and the rights to the LPGA-licensed marks.
“This is an excellent opportunity to increase consumer awareness of our brands not only to golfers, but to leisure travelers as well,” said Donald Crawford, director of sports marketing for Choice Hotels.
