John Kasper has joined FMC Corp. as director of marketing. FMC is a chemical company which offers a variety of products to the agricultural, industrial and consumer markets.
In his new position, Kasper will lead the FMC marketing group and oversee segment strategies, all tactical marketing elements of the operational business, traditional communications and e-communications, market and competitive intelligence efforts, data management and customer relationship management functions.
Kasper started his career in agriculture at Cornell University, where he distributed new cultivars. He then worked with Agway as a crop advisor. He spent ten years with Gowan in the sales, marketing and business development functions.
He served as Northeast marketing manager for UAP and then joined NISSO Agrochemicals in 2002 as the director of marketing. In 2006 he was promoted to VP of sales and marketing.
