Chemdex Corp., Palo Alto, CA, which sells scientific supplies over the Internet, has signed a contract with the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), to provide an enterprise-wide procurement solution for the university’s research laboratories.
The school’s researchers and lab technicians will use Chemdex, to source, compare and purchase supplies directly from their desktops, allowing them to spend more time conducting scientific research, Chemdex said. The company offers more than 400,000 products from over160 suppliers.
