Retail media firm Channel M has hired Gap Inc. veteran Chris Gayton as vice president of marketing.
Gayton had been senior director of media and promotions for Gap and its Old Navy division, overseeing strategy, planning and purchase of all media, including joint promotions with media partners for Old Navy. He held that post for five years.
Earlier, Gayton had been vice president and associate media director at Arnold Worldwide, supervising the agency’s media plans for Volkswagen North America.
Channel M produces in-store video programming for retailers, and sells advertising on video networks in retail and entertainment venues.
