Cendant Corp., New York, has merged its Individual Membership and Insurance/Wholesale units into a single Direct Marketing division. Michael P. Monaco, a Cendant vice chairman, will head the new division as chairman and CEO. Thomas P. Christopoul, previously executive vice president of corporate services, will become president of Individual Membership Services. Christopoul will report to Monaco.
Additionally, John W. Chidsey has been named chairman and CEO of Cendant’s Diversified Services Division and chairman of Cendant Europe. Both Monaco and Chidsey will report to Cendant chairman, president and CEO Henry R. Silverman.
