J. C. Penney Co. Inc., the cataloger/retailer based in Plano, TX Reported that catalog revenues dropped 7.2% to $436 million for the month ended Nov. 28 from $470 million for the same time in1997.
Total revenues for the four weeks ended increased 3% to $2.9 billion over $2.8 billion in the comparable 1997 period.
Direct Marketing Services November revenue increased 6.8% to $79 million from $74 million last year.
Sales of department stores for the month increased 3.3% to $1.6 billion from $1.5 billion in the 1997 period.
