Cash for Clunkers has selected automotive direct mail specialist Cubic Marketing, Inc. to help educate the American public on the forthcoming Cash for Clunkers bill. The company did not release figures regarding anticipated mail volumes or expenditures.
California-based Cubic Marketing will target US consumers and car dealerships in their education initiative.
As part of its responsibilities, Cubic Marketing will generate and distribute mail pieces that inform the general public about the new Cash for Clunkers bill, which grants car buyers a voucher of up to $4,500 if they trade in their current clunker for a new, more fuel efficient vehicle.
Cubic Marketing was chosen by the Pasch Consulting Group, which manages the Web site CashforClunkersfacts.com. Traffic to the site recently surpassed previous records after the U.S. Senate approved the spending provision.
