President Bush intends to nominate Dan Gregory Blair as chairman of the Postal Rate Commission and upon confirmation designate him as chairman. He now serves as deputy director of the Office of Personnel Management. Previously, he was senior counsel of the Senate Committee on Governmental Affairs. Before that, he served on the House Committee on Government Reform and Oversight as staff director of the Subcommittee on the Postal Service.
