Burger King and AOL Serve Up Digital Music

Burger King and AOL Music are the latest brands to promote digital music offerings as they plan to offer free music downloads with the purchase of a Whopper.

From now through Oct. 3, Burger King restaurants across the country will give away one free music download with every purchase of an Original Whopper sandwich. Customers can enter a unique download code found on Whopper wrappers at www.haveityourway.com Web site to get free music downloads from AOL Music.

Under the promotion, consumers can also view AOL Music’s original studio performances, called Sessions@AOL, as well as Broadband Rocks, a concert series featuring popular artists. AOL Music offers 700,000 downloadable songs.

This promotion follows other downloadable music promos, most notably the deal between Sony Connect and McDonald’s, which gave consumers who bought a Big Mac Extra Value meal an access code for one free song download.
