Broadpoint Launches Freeway Nationality

BroadPoint, Landover, MD, has released its FreeWay program nationally, after a successful test in Pittsburgh. FreeWay allows subscribers to earn free telephone time in exchange for listening to advertising pitches from national, regional, and local companies over the phone. Participants get two free minutes for each 10 to 15 second ad they listen to.

Approximately 70 advertisers have already signed up for the service. Advertisers include Blockbuster Entertainment, The Wall Street Journal, and PolyGram Entertainment. The program has in excess of 10,000 members, but expects to reach one million by the end of the year.
