British Telecommunications plc, Rockville Center, NY, has purchased Yellow Book USA from VS&A Communications Partners II, L.P. for $665 million. It was a cash transaction.
Yellow Book USA has a circulation of more than 19 million, nearly 300 directories and more than 1,400 employees in 32 offices. The company’s current management team will stay in place. They will report to the managing director of BT Yellow Pages. Neither the company’s name nor location will change.
