On Nov. 16, the U.S. Postal Service will begin decontaminating its Brentwood, MD distribution facility, Postmaster General Jack Potter told the USPS Board of Governors. He estimated the anthrax-contaminated facility should be fully operational by next spring.
During the anthrax crisis in October of last year the Brentwood facility was closed after at least three employees became seriously ill there (DIRECT, Oct. 28, 2001).
