Bookings, Revenue, Income Up for Expedia

Expedia Inc. booked $1.47 billion in travel services during third-quarter 2002, more than twice what it generated in third-quarter 2001. Revenue from its activities was $166 million, up from $79,478 million a year ago.

The online travel company reported $20.1 million in net income, a turnaround from the $4.8 million net loss it had a year ago.
