Dennis Bissig, formerly senior vice president of the Millard-Mokrynski Group, has left the organization. His resignation was confirmed by Ed Mallin, president of infoUSA’s Services Group, the parent company of Millard-Mokrynski. According to Mallin, Bissig resigned last week.
InfoUSA acquired Mokrynskidirect in May 2006, and combined the company with Millard Group, which it also acquired in 2006, a month ago. At the time Bissig, who had been president of Mokrynskidirect, was named senior vice president, and Ben Perez was given the title of president of the combined list management-brokerage group.
Perez remains in his role as president of the Mokrynski-Millard Group.
“We made a decision that it would be better to have one leader of the organized group,” Mallin said. “We made a decision that it was better [that Bissig] move on,” said Mallin, adding that the separation was amicable.
Bissig’s position, which had been created for him at the time of the merger, will not be filled.
“We have vice presidents and managers of the various operating units, and we don’t see a need for another layer of management,” Mallin said.
Mallin added that there had been other staff cuts: Roughly a dozen employees, in operational positions such as accounting and marketing, have left during the last few weeks.
