BiggerBoat Network Targets Advertising on Entertainment Web Sites

The BiggerBoat Entertainment Advertising Network launched by OnMeta Inc. will target direct response advertising to 15 million unique monthly visitors of entertainment-oriented Web sites.

Targeting is based on users’ online entertainment consumption preferences. The network relies on Internet search engine technology and a database with demographic and psychographic profiles of consumers.

Advertising with video and audio will be placed next to and within movies, music, TV shows and video games that consumers can access through Web sites.

“We can deliver a bigger more targeted audience of people who interact with entertainment delivered online,” said in a statement Barbara De Lury, co-founder and chief technology officer for BiggerBoat.
