E-mail marketing company Bigfoot Interactive has reworked its business model to serve specific vertical markets.
The change allows clients within the vertical groups to leverage Bigfoot’s technology, tools and expertise to develop e-mail and Web communications programs that meet specific industry needs. Staff and customized technology services are available for eight sectors.
In the publishing area, Bigfoot is offering technology for magazines and newspapers to post news content on their Web sites and e-mail newsletters simultaneously. In financial services, functions that produce billing statement alerts and payment confirmations are available.
In automotive, programs for pre-marketing of new model launches and awareness campaigns have been developed, along with methods for building the database of people who have expressed interest in upcoming models.
In the pharmaceutical sector, technology utilities send out e-mails reminding consumers about time-triggered events, such as taking medication or refilling prescriptions.
Other sectors with customized technology and dedicated staff are retail, entertainment, telecom and not-for-profit.
“We’re not just sending vanilla e-mail, we have an understanding of companies’ specific challenges and their sectors,” said Al DiGuido, CEO of the New York company. “We can take these tools and solutions and have things up and running in a week to 10 days.”
