A DM father is bequeathing the direct marketing bible to a DM son.
The seventh edition of “Successful Direct Marketing Methods” will be co-edited by DM legend Bob Stone and Ron Jacobs, a partner at Jacobs & Clevenger, Chicago. Jacobs had worked for Stone at Stone & Adler in the ’80s. Jacobs contributed a chapter to the sixth edition four years ago, which, Stone says, “convinced me I needed his subtle, great mind to bring the most current DM methods to the book.”
“Successful Direct Marketing Methods” has sold about 1 million copies since the first edition was published in 1970.
