Best Western has named Dorothy Dowling senior VP-marketing. The appointment takes effect Nov. 8.
In her new role, she will head the field marketing, frequency marketing, consumer marketing, advertising and creative services and electronic marketing departments.
Most recently, she worked for a food management services company, ARAMARK Corp. as a VP in parks and attractions, sports and entertainment and convention and tourism from 2002 to 2004.
