Athlete’s Foot Pumps Registrations with Nike Giveaway

To build up its in-house mailing database, sports footwear retailer The Athlete’s Foot has launched a 10-day “Accessorize Your Spring” promotion that will give out 10 branded drawstring bags full of athletic apparel each day for 10 days and will enter each of those 100 winners into a drawing for a grand prize of $350 worth of Nike apparel, including a pair of Nike running shoes.

The campaign, which launched yesterday online, is meant to celebrate the arrival of spring and the return of the outdoor sports season in most of the country.

Consumers can enter to win the daily giveaways by joining the official fan club for The Athlete’s Foot, where they will be asked to submit their name, e-mail address, birth date and ZIP code. Registering with the Club lets the brand send members TAF Mail with news, special offers, birthday promotions and other content.

Entrants can also join the giveaway by signing up via TAF’s Facebook page.

Each day until April 1, 10 daily giveaway winners will be chosen and notified by e-mail that they will receive a TAF drawstring bag containing men’s and women’s athletic socks, a shoe cleaner, suede cleaner, a can of water repellent, a pair of sneaker balls, a pair of reflective laces and two pairs of hexagel insole shoe inserts.

Those daily winners will automatically be entered into a drawing for the “Accessorize Your Spring” grand prize, a Nike duffel bag full of accessories and a pair of either men’s or women’s Nike running shoes.
