Al Greer, past president of the Direct Marketing Club of New York and founder of the San Diego Direct Marketing Association, has died. He was 67.
A 1989 recipient of the DMCNY’s Silver Apple Award, Greer had worked for many years at McGraw Hill until relocating to the San Diego area to head up Wildlife Education Ltd., a direct marketer of books about animals for the educational market.
He is survived by his wife Ann and two grown children.
