Charles Morgan has resigned as chairman of the board of directors of data firm Acxiom Corp., and stepped down from his position as company leader, effective immediately. Morgan will serve as interim leader until a successor is selected.
Morgan begins a consultative role with the company, focusing on technology and innovation, which could last for up to three years.
Michael J. Durham was elected non-executive chairman of the board of directors. Durham has been on the Acxiom board since March 2006. He was most recently president and CEO of Sabre Inc.
Additionally, Kevin W. Twomey has been elected to the board, Twomey most recently held a number of executive positions with the St. Joe Co. through 2006. He replaces Rodger Kline, who will remain with Acxiom as chief administrative leader.
