4Kids Entertainment Inc. has promoted Rosalind C. Nowicki to executive vice president of marketing and licensing..
In her new role, Nowicki oversees the company’s global marketing and licensing initiatives. She also continues work building the strategic partnership between Microsoft and 4 Kids Entertainment’s collaboration on the Viva Piñata and Xbox brands.
Previously, Nowicki worked as senior vice president for 4 kids. She joined 4 Kids in 2001 as vice president of marketing and oversaw the Yu-Gi-Oh property globally outside of Asia.
Prior to that, Nowicki worked as vice president of Softlines Licensing for Universal Studios.
In addition, 4Kids Entertainment promoted 12-year veteran Carlin C. West to executive vice president of acquisitions and development. She is in charge of managing the “Chaotic” franchise. That includes supervising marketing, PR, trade and consumer advertising and coordinating the brand’s licensed merchandise program. West will also work with 4Kids Productions on the “Chaotic” animated TV series.
West will also continue to spearhead new property acquisitions for 4Kids Entertainment.
She joined 4Kids in 1993 as a creator and independent television producer for (World Martial Arts Council Masters, a live action martial arts-themed weekly kids series, broadcast on 4Kids Entertainment. She was later named as the company’s senior vice president and oversaw the marketing, advertising and PR departments.
