YesMail Ventures Into CRM Services
Chicago-based YesMail.com has rolled out a customer-relationship management service.
With a 25-million-name database of e-mail addresses, YesMail has been focused on acquisition services up until now.
YesConnect CRM in which YesMail hosts the data, segmentation and personalization features of e-mail campaigns on behalf of clients is one of the new services offered. This service gives the client more control over e-mail transmissions.
The other is YesConnect CRM Express, which allows clients to use their legacy software systems to qualify prospects, and YesMail sends it out, tracks results and reports back–functioning more like a service bureau.
YesMail has a handful of clients for the CRM service, which it has been rolling out since the spring. “This integrated approach can help customers understand what works in acquisition and retention,” president and CEO David B. Menzel told DIRECT Newsline.
