The Yankee Candle Co. Inc. reported net income of $48 million for the fourth quarter, up 7% from $44.9 million during the same quarter last year.
The direct marketer, retailer and wholesaler posted total sales of $218.9 million for the quarter ended Jan. 1, a 7% increase over $205 million last year.
Direct marketing sales for The South Deerfield, MA company rose 1% in the quarter.
