The Yankee Candle Co. Inc., is offering a service to customize and purchase candles at its Web site.
The service, called “Make A Memory,” uses a rich media application, created by Molecular, that allows users to create candles based on their own personal preferences.
The design process features colors, wrappers and flowers, materials from five product lines and a one-screen palette.
Make a Memory, located at http://www.yankeecandle.com, was created to increase sales and average order size by cross-selling complimentary products, the firm said.
