Viking Office Products, Inc. will launch Lenzburg, Switzerland-based direct mail and Internet operations in late 2001/early 2002.
The company is currently hiring staff at what will be a 6,000 square meter warehouse facility in Lenzburg, which will also incorporate a 30-person call center that will meet the needs of both French- and German-speaking customers.
Initial mailing plans call for the company to mail 240,000 catalogs, featuring 3,500 products, across Switzerland starting in late 2001. Future mailings may expand the number of items featured to 7,500. The company
