ValueVision Media, Inc. reported a net loss of $700,000 for the second quarter, an improvement over a net loss of $1.4 million for the same quarter last year.
The television shopping network posted revenue of $187 million for the quarter ended Aug. 5, a 10% gain over the prior year.
The Minneapolis company also reported that Internet sales increased 23% in the quarter, compared with the second quarter of 2005.
