ValuePass.com, a Palo Alto, Ca-based print-at-home electronic coupon firm, has acquired the “Coupons.com” domain name. The company will now operate as Coupons.com. The acquisition is valued at several million dollars, although specific terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Coupons.com, is a free service that broadcasts coupons and other sales incentives directly to subscribers’ desktops. The service delivers coupons electronically via the Internet to consumers who have expressed an interest in their specific types of products and services. According to the company, Coupons.com has been averaging a 10.3% coupon redemption rate.
