USPS to Allow Sticky Notes on Mail Pieces

The U.S. Postal Service has begun allowing mailers to attach repositionable notes (sticky notes) on all cards, large letters, catalogs, magazines and newspapers.

The USPS will charge 1/2 cent to stick RPNs on first-class mail and 1-1/2 cents to do so on standard mail or periodicals.

Vendors authorized to supply RPNs include 3M; 3 Sigma, Troy, OH; Express Card and Label Co., Topeka, KS; The Kennedy Group, Willoughby, OH; Moore Wallace North America Inc., Manchester, NH; NA Star Inc., Middleton, WI; Repacorp Label Product, Tipp City, OH; and York Labels, York, PA. RPNs must be machine-applied.
