USPS Launches Secure Internet Delivery Service

The U.S. Postal Service has launched Post Electronic Courier Service, PosteCS, a global electronic document delivery services that enables users to securely send documents via the Internet.

A document sent by PosteCS is available at a unique Web address created specifically for the secure delivery of the package. The recipient, who is notified in an e-mail message, can then retrieve the document by clicking on the URL link, which is given in the message, and then download the file.
