Nonprofit organization TRUSTe and consulting firm ePrivacy Group have teamed up to offer a privacy education program.
The education initiative was designed to help enable privacy officers to fulfill compliance needs and offer corporate-wide education for everyone from call center reps to executives.
Training modules — ranging from one-day workshops for executives to one-hour training sessions for employees on the front lines — will be offered online and will be customizable to meet a company’s specific needs.
Upon completion, companies will documentation of employee participation; TRUSTe member companies will also obtain a TRUSTe certificate of completion. Additional information is available at http://www.eprivacygroup.com/truste.
