Timothy Muris Nominated to Replace FTC Chair Pitofsky

Timothy Muris has been nominated to succeed Federal Trade Commission chairman Robert Pitofsky, according to the FTC.

Muris is foundation professor at the George Mason University School of Law. His extensive government service includes three positions at the Federal Trade Commission: director, Bureau of Competition; director, Bureau of Consumer Protection; and assistant to the director, Office of Policy, Planning & Evaluation.
