American List Counsel has been tapped to manage the 28,000-name subscriber file of The Writer magazine, which has just been introduced to the market.
Published by Kalmbach Publishing Co., the publication is read by professional writers interested in how to best compete in writers’ markets.
The list is priced at $95 per thousand names.
Nearly 85% of subscribers are published authors with an average income of $65,000. More than half have bought books by mail order, while 26% have purchased books over the Internet. Most own a computer, and more than two-thirds have Internet access.
