Tasty Baking has signed a partnership deal with Minor League Baseball.
The agreement calls for in-stadium and on-pack promotion, as well as PA announcements and product sales, tied to 17 teams.
The deal marks the first time Tastykake, which includes a line of snack cakes, cookies, pies and donuts, has embarked on a major sports sponsorship package.
“One of our most important objectives is to extend the Tastykake excitement and brand loyalty to markets beyond our hometown (Philadelphia),” said Tasty Baking Marketing Director Jon Silvon in a statement.
