Music and multimedia agency Sugo has opened a Port Washington, NY, office under managing director Sari McConnell.
McConnell add the title to her current post as VP-marketing and product development for Foster City, CA-based Sugo. The agency also has launched a new Web site, Sugoagency.com, to showcase its work including CD premiums for brands.
McConnell will oversee projects for clients in retail, packaged goods, financial services, publishing and media, as well as working with promo and ad agencies on music and multimedia projects. McConnell has been with Sugo for four years; she previously held brand management posts at Hallmark, Clorox, and LeapFrog.
Sugo, which is owned by Tambourine, Inc., also has hired three business development managers and promoted four staffers in its Foster City office. The new managers are Dan Aufhauser, from Globalphonic Music, LLC, San Francisco; Greg Jordan, from IVAX Laboratories, Miami; and Gina Quinlan, from Westway Marketing, London.
Promotions were given to Paul Bailin, now senior director of business development (from director); Andre Dneprov, now director of multimedia technologies (from manager); Jason Mullen, now director of product development (from manager); and Elif Somay, now director of business development (from manager).
