Cataloger and Retailer L.L.Bean has given its name to a new vehicle from Subaru of America, Inc.
In November, Subaru will make the 2001 Subaru Outback H6-3.0 L.L.Bean Edition available through its showrooms.
The jointly branded vehicle is the most visible example of the partnership between the two entities. The agreement represents the first such venture with an automobile company for L.L.Bean and, conversely, the first lifestyle retailer for Subaru.
Including destination and delivery fees, the automobile boasts a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of just under $30,000.
