Stamps.com, the online postage marketer based in Santa Monica, CA, has kicked off a month-long direct marketing and advertising blitz in that will target small office/home office business owners in five cities.
The campaign calls for an approximately one million-piece mailing, a new television advertising flight featuring the voice of actor Nathan Lane, a redesigned Web site and the launch of an affiliate agreement with America Online Inc.
Stamps.com’s system works by having customers install its Internet Postage software on their existing computers and who has an active, licensed U.S. Postal Service account. With an online connection, computer and printer, they can gain access to purchase and print postage right from their desktops.
