Rapp Collins Worldwide has named Robert Solomon as president and CEO of its New York office.
The position had been unfilled since February, when Lesley Mair returned to the U.K. office. Malcolm Speed, chairman and CEO of Rapp Collins Worldwide, had been covering during that period.
The office handles such accounts as Mercedes-Benz, Kaiser Permanente, and Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse. It has roughly 150 employees, according to spokesman Jack Mello.
The search for a new CEO ramped up only recently, Mello said.
Solomon had been running Solomon Strategic, a consultancy he founded in 1999.
