Mary Beth Roberts has been hired by Brierley & Partners, a Dallas-based marketing firm specializing in the design and implementation of customer loyalty programs. Roberts, who was previously with Encyclopedia Britannica, will join the firm’s Chicago office, where she will serve as VP, account management. The company also named David I. Hennagin a VP, account management in the company’s Los Angeles office. Hennagin comes to the firm from TBWA Chiat/Day Inc.
Metris Companies Inc., St. Louis Park, has filed an application to list its stock on the New York Stock Exchange. Pending final approval from the NYSE, Metris will begin trading its shares under the symbol MXT on May 7. Metris Companies has approximately 19 million shares of common stock outstanding currently traded on the Nasdaq Stock Market under the symbol MTRS.
