Floral products retailer Gerald Stevens Inc. has completed the acquisition of floral direct marketer Calyx & Corolla Inc., San Francisco. Terms were not disclosed. Along with the acquisition, Calyx CEO Ruth Owaides joins Gerald Stevens’ board of directors.
Cataloger the J. Jill Group Inc., Hingham, MA, will open its first two J. Jill retail stores in Natick, MA and Providence in November, reportedly ahead of schedule. The stores will be approximately 5,000 square feet and will offer apparel, accessories, shoes and gifts consistent with the form’s catalog image.
