AdKnowledge, a provider of Internet advertising management and analyst services for marketers, has filed a registration statement with the SEC for an initial public offering of common stock. The offering will be managed by J.P. Morgan & Co., BancBoston Robertson Stephens Inc. and Volpe Brown Whelan and Co., LLC. The company plans to use the proceeds of the offering for general corporate purposes.
Steve Finney has been promoted to senior vice president in charge of finance and business planning at Disney Interactive. Finney joined Disney Interactive in August 1997 as vice president and chief financial officer. Disney Interactive, part of the Disney Consumer Products division of The Walt Disney Co., develops, markets and globally distributes a interactive family-oriented entertainment and educational CD-ROMs and video games.
Jonathan Sackett has been promoted to director of interactive services at Townsend Agency, Rosemont, IL. Sackett had previously been Townsend’s management supervisor for interactive marketing. In his new position, Sackett will oversee the agencies interactive services and will report directly to president and COO David Ives.
Carrie Jacobs has been hired as vice president of the western region at Edith Roman Associates, Pearl River, NY. Jacobs had previously worked at CareerTrack, Boulder, CO, where she was responsible for list brokerage, acquisition and management.
