Group 1 Software, Lanham, MD, has promoted Mike Schmitt to vice president and general manager of the company’s DM1 Division in Las Vegas. Schmitt will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities for the division as well as product development and support. He has been with Group 1 since March 2000 and was vice president of operations for the division.
