E-mail marketing company YesMail, Chicago, has joined e-mail change of address service Veripost’s partner network. YesMail will offer Superior, CO-based Veripost’s services to update changed e-mail addresses to its 150 network partners. YesMail joins 14 existing Veripost partners: Acxiom, American List Counsel, Bigfoot Interactive, CheetahMail, Digital Impact, directmedia.com, Impower, Innovy, MessageMedia, Netcentives, Responsys, Socketware, Xchange and Xpedite.
AccuData America, Cape Coral, FL, has formed a partnership with 1-888-Mail List. The deal will let visitors access AccuData’s online service for list counts and orders through a link from 1-888-Mail List’s Web site (www.1888maillist.com).
Wireless advertising provider SkyGo Inc., San Francisco has formed an alliance with OmniSky Corp. to be the preferred provider of advertising services to OmniSky clients. SkyGo will incorporate OmniSky’s one-tap technology into advertisements it creates in order to provide users the ability to save selected advertising information in a single tap. OmniSky is in Redwood City, CA.
Information technology direct marketer PC Connection Inc., Merrimack, NH, and Cyberian Outpost Inc. plan to merge. The transaction is structured as a stock-for-stock, tax-free merger and will be accounted for under the purchase method of accounting. The deal is expected to close during the third quarter. Cyberian Outpost is an Internet provider of consumer technology and e-business services in Kent, CT.
