Group 1 Software has named Ralph Tomerlin managing director of Group 1 Software Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. He will have responsibility for the development and operations of Group 1’s offices in China, Singapore, Korea, Malaysia and Australia.
EBay has acquired all outstanding shares of Netherlands classified Web site Marktplaats.nl and certain of its subsidiaries for approximately $290 million U.S. dollars, plus acquisition costs. The site was purchased from Het Goed Beheer BV, a company that owns second-hand retail shops in the Netherlands. EBay plans to continue to operate Marktplaats.nl as a separate business.
