Sharper Image Corp. reported record holiday sales of $111 million, up 28% over $86 million last year.
The San Francisco company’s Internet sales rose approximately 68% for the period between Dec. 1-24. Catalog sales increased about 36%.
Comparable store sales increased 7%.
“It is remarkable to have achieved these sales increases without the heavy discounting that seems so prevalent among other retailers this year,” said CEO Richard Thalheimer, in a statement.
