Second Annual Panama City Spring Break Hits High Gear

Panama City Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau attracts college students for second year of Spring Break.

The month long SBO4 promotion began Mar. 3 and offers a variety of campaigns and on-site events at Panama City’s Spinnakers Beach Club. The campaigns include a pre-promotions effort, exclusive hotel premises marketing as well as daytime beach and nightclub experiences such as:

  • The Verizon Wireless Latitude Pavilion on the beach features interactive games and students can phone home.

  • Hasbro’s Soakertag Survival Challenge lets students compete in a Super Soaker water fight tournament for a cash prize of $4,000.

  • Paramount Pictures will promote their latest movie releases and allow spring breakers to interact with movie-themed beach event areas. Students can also take part in a battle of the bands competition sponsored by Paramount Home Entertainment.

  • Panasonic will host a products demo Most Wanted Hut featuring new products and activities.

Additional participating sponsors include Dreamworks, JCPenney, Arizona Jean Co. and Hawaiian Tropic.
