The Direct Marketing Association Nonprofit Federation presented Raymond J. Grace with the 2005 Max Hart Achievement Award Friday at the Washington Nonprofit Conference.
The award, formerly known as the Nonprofit Achievement Award, was recently renamed in honor of Max Hart, president of the Disabled American Veterans.
Grace is chairman, Creative Direct Response Inc., which he founded with Jerry Kennedy and a staff of five in 1982. In fiscal 2005, CDR and its related divisions will bill in excess of $45 million.
