Printer R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co., Chicago, will purchase Penton Press, a business-to-business printing subsidiary of Penton Media, Cleveland. Financial terms were not disclosed, although the agreement includes a seven-year contract to print more than 30 of Penton Media’s publications. Once the deal closes – reportedly by the end of the year – Penton Press will operate as part of R.R. Donnelley’s Specialized Publishing Services division, its short-run magazine production unit. The 128,000-square-foot printing facility employs 260.
