QVC is eliminating merit raises for all employees and reducing hours for workers in call and distribution centers around the country, according to wire service reports.
In November, television shopping network said it was cutting about 500 positions in its West Chester, PA distribution center.
The company said this reduction in worker hours was a temporary and will run from Monday through June 30.
After that, the company said it will evaluate its business needs and either expand it or end it.
Affected are workers at call centers in San Antonio, Texas; Chesapeake, VA; Port St. Lucie, FL and distribution center workers in Lancaster, PA; Rocky Mount, NC; Florence, SC and Suffolk, VA.
